Your rental booking has to be ordered from the website: http://mtfujirental.com
Your booking is not confirmed until we send you a confirmation email.
If rental equipment is out of stock, or short notice booking (you wish to be delivered on your trekking start date), we cancel your booking and refund to you by PAYPAL.
Cancellation of your booking is informed via email.
You are responsible to provide us your personal information without any mistakes.
You are responsible to check your email after your order including spam box.

 

Shipping
Our entire rental prices include shipping fee.
For returning equipment, a Prepaid shipping voucher has been included that allows you to send us back gear without any additional payment.

* IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ because you might not receive gear in some case.

(1) We cannot deliver to love hotels and some of the capsule hotel because they reject All of the delivery items and you cannot receive them at the reception.

(2) We do not ship to Couch Surfing (eg. Airbnb) accommodation, We cancel rental booking if the delivery address is an Airbnb accommodation.

We had several troubles happened in these case with couch surfing customers, so we have stopped ALL shipping delivery for Airbnb accommodation since 27 August 2018.
Trouble for example:
* NOT delivered because hostname was not written on the shipping label.
(We could have avoided this trouble if you communicate with your host in advance)
* Address was completely WRONG.
(Host might not tell you the correct address to keep their privacy)
* Host does not allow you to deliver the rental gear because they do not want to owe paying the fee caused by you.
(Some host misunderstand the rental system, some people think they have to pay instead of you if something happened like you lost gear etc.)

 

If you would like to deliver to your house in Japan, Please offer us correct information and be aware of delivery time zone.

(1) The package is delivered at your place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. so You have to stay home to receive it.

(2) If you know in advance that you are not available on the delivery date morning, you must tell us before we release to the delivery company. The delivery term can be chosen  14:00-16:00, 16:00-18:00, 18:00-20:00, 20:00-21:00

(3) If you are not available after we released to the delivery company and you have to change the receiving time zone, please call 0120-17-9625 or 03-6757-1061. They speak English. If you would like us to call, we charge 1000 yen for re-arranging the delivery time.

*We are sending to the address, offered by YOU. The personal address can easily be mistaken and we cannot confirm it if it is correct or wrong.

SO IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK AND TELL THE CORRECT ADDRESS. 

 

Payment
Payment should be done by PAYPAL or Credit card via stripe
You will be re-directing to PAYPAL website for your payment or a pop-up screen comes to fill in your credit card detail.
We do not accept any other payment method.

 

Cancellation policies
If you decide to cancel, you are responsible to inform via email or contact form A.S.A.P.

  • Cancel 5 days before your trekking start date: Full refund
  • Cancel 4 days before your trekking start date: No refund

The refund may take time. Please contact to PAYPAL when the refund will be done to you.

 

Cancellation because of weather condition
We do not refund for any cancellation because of weather-related reason below.
Please check the weather and local conditions for Mt.Fuji.
We strictly follow the Cancellation policies listed above.

  • No refund for Cancel because of the typhoon hit Mt.Fuji on your hiking date (even you do not use any of gear)
  • No refund for Cancel because the trail has been closed due to the bad weather

Damage charge
Free of charge

  • Dirty our equipment with mud
  • You make a hole (less than 3 cm) in our rain wear
  • You break zipper
  • You lost rubber cap for trekking pole tip point
  • You lost baskets for trekking pole

 

Charge for market price

  • Lost of item
  • Lost 1 trekking pole out of 2 poles
  • Lost 1 piece of trekking pole out of 3 pieces
  • Lost only rain trouser or only rain jacket out of rainwear set
  • Lost a bag for rainwear
  • Lost of 1 piece of gloves
  • Make a hole in Backpack cover
  • Lost Backpack cover
  • Make a hole in our items more than 3 cm
  • Dirty our equipment with non-washable liquids (Oil, or painting)
  • Bend trekking pole
  • Make equipment unusable

 

Charge 2000 yen

  • Break pants’ hem because the customer did not use or wear gaiters.

 

Late fee
If you are late to return rental package, we request extra rental charge.

  • 500 yen/item for 1-day delay (e.g. if you are delaying for 6 items for 1 day, you are requested to pay 3000 yen by PAYPAL)
  • If you are delaying more than 3 days, we report to Japanese police.

 

Request you to pay the shipping fee in the case below

  • You forgot to return a part of the gear and send back to us with your own delivery arrangement.
  • You did not use our partner shipping company and returned to us with your own shipping arrangement.
